The Chhattisgarh was incorporated in the year 2006 with the amalgamation of RRBs banks like Bilaspur-Raipur Kshetriya Gramin bank, Bastar Kshetriya Gramin bank, Raigrah Kshetriya Gramin Bank under the notification issued by Government of India dated on 30-6-2006. The number of districts covered under them are 19 which are working together to uplift the economic masses or rural areas. Some of the districts included are Bilaspur, Korba, Raipur, Balora Bazaar, Mungeli, Sukma, Gariabad and Jashpur etc. There are total of 294 branches associated in this bank out of which 234 are located at rural area, 31 at semi-urban area and 29 are at urban areas.
The bank focuses upon strengthening the economy of rural masses through excellent banking services with total satisfaction of banks customers. The bank offers various banking services to its customers includes Locker facility, Bank’s pay order, Corporate agency, Gramin pay order along with various deposit schemes like saving, current, recurring account, term deposit, special term deposits and Gramin bank “Kar Bachat” Yojana. The bank has 1169 staff members that are working together to bring out the best services for the people those who have invested and saved money in their schemes include 10 members in deputation of officer post, 653 in officers, 359 in clerical post and 157 in messengers.
The candidates must possess a degree in similar discipline through recognized university and should be aged between the specified limit as that of the post. Good communication skill along with the proficiency in the Local language and good knowledge of computer operations will add advantage. The bank has introduced vacancies for the post of Officer Scale I, II, III and Office assistant (multipurpose). The selection process is based on Written Exam followed by Interview. The interview for both the post will comprise of 200 objective type questions for reasoning (50), numerical ability (50), General knowledge (50) and General English/General Hindi (50). The minimum qualifying score is 40% which is required by the candidates to go through the next round that is Personal interview.
All the rounds of these banks are conducted through IBPS RRBs and the interested candidates need to read all the instructions, norms and policies before applying to any available posts. Based upon the performance of the candidates in the CWE, they are selected in the ration of 1:3 and will be called for interview. The final result will be delivered based upon the combined performance of the candidates in CWE and interview. The application fee should be remitted only at any branch of the Chhattisgarh Gramin bank or identified branch of State bank of India by using the respective fee payment Challan available on the official site of the bank. After payment, the candidates should apply only online by the bank’s official website portal as no other means of mode is acceptable.
