About Baroda UP Gramin Bank Jobs


The Baroda UP Gramin Bank has sponsored by 19 RRBs in the country out of which 7 are in the eastern Uttar Pradesh. The bank was established under the Regional Rural Bank Act 1976 and till 2006 the bank has undergone various financial commercial changes and RRBs has no exception. Due to the changing economical scenario the Government of India decide to amalgamated seven Eastern Uttar Pradesh RRBs into a single unit which can carry out multiple tasks in various districts easily they include banks – Faizabad Kshetriya Gramin bank, Pratapgarh Kshetriya Gramin bank, Allahabad Kshetriya Gramin bank, Sultanpur Kshetriya Gramin bank, Fatehpur Kshetriya Gramin bank and Shahjahapur Kshetriya Gramin bank etc which are sponsored by Bank of Baroda.

Their main objective is to transform in a bank that are committed to overall economic development of rural areas with care, competence and compassion towards their customers. They are also indulge in the works to ensure saturation of villages in their service area to prepare a committed and knowledgeable workforce with the view to transform to the bank into the most preferred banking outlet in that area. Hence once the seven districts are connected into two corporate as Baroda Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Baroda western Uttar Pradesh Garmin bank, after certain time the government of India has amalgamated the two into a single bank called Baroda UP Gramin bank on 31 March 2008.

To apply for the vacancies that are offered by Baroda UP Gramin bank every year for the post of Officer scale I, II, III and office assistant (multipurpose), the candidates have to go through the official portal of the same to apply online. The Hindi/English language Knowledge is required by the candidates along with proficiency in the Local language of the state is a must. Before applying for the posts the candidates also need to check out the eligibility criteria that include age limit, qualification degree in similar discipline, proficiency in language, vacancies and selection process.

The selection of the candidates is based upon the CWE and interview. The CWE include questions of reasoning, qualitative aptitude, general awareness and a qualifying paper of English language. Each part is having 50 questions with a total of 200 questions for the post of Office Scale. The section covered under the post of Office Assistant include- reasoning, clerical aptitude, numerical ability and a qualifying paper of General English which are carrying a total of 200 questions. Candidates passing the written exam are then qualified for interview and the application fee charged to the candidates is Rs. 300 for office assistant and Rs. 500 for Officer Post and Rs. 75 for SC/ST candidates. The payment is required to be made through online mode like debit or credit card or any branch of Baroda UP Gramin bank through a proper Challan as described in the form.
