Post Details


[A] For Assistant Professor of English Humanities (MEFA) Mathematics Physics Chemistry:-

[i] Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

[ii] Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

[iii] Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and procedures for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree), Regulations, 2009 and so adopted by the University, shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

[iv] NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted subject to the conditions stipulated in these Regulations in clause 3.3.3.

[B] For Assistant Professor of Physical Education:-

[i] Master’s degree in Physical Education or Master’s degree in Sports Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade point scale with a consistently good academic record.

[ii] Record of having represented the university/ college at the inter-university/ intercollegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships.

[iii] Passed the physical fitness test.

[C] For Assistant Professor of Library & Information Sc.:-

[i] Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 55% marks where grading system is practiced and a consistently good academic record with knowledge on computerization of library.

[ii] Qualifying in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or other accredited test like SLET/SET in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

[iii] Holders of Ph.D. Degree as on the date of Notifications of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. degree through a process of admission, registration, course work and external evaluation as laid down in the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of M.Phil./Ph.D Degree), Regulations, 2009 and so adopted by the university shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

[D] For Assistant Professor of Management:-

[i] First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and 2 years' relevant Experience is desirable.

[E] For Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Computer Science & Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical & Elect. Engineering Information Scientist Information Technology Mechanical Engineering:-

[i] BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.

[F] For Assistant Professor of Civil & Environmental Engg., Metallurgy Mining Engg. Mining Machinery Material Science & Nano Technology:-

[i] BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.

Selection Procedure

[a] Applications received late, or incomplete application forms will not be considered.

[b] Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will Automatically Disqualify the Candidate for the Post.

[c] A Candidate must be in sound in body and health. He/She must be prepared to undergo such medical examination and satisfy such medical authority the University may prescribe.

[d] A candidate who is found to have knowingly furnished any particulars which are false or to have suppressed material information, will be disqualified and if appointed, will be liable for dismissal without notice.

[e] The filled in application form received after the last date will be summarily rejected.

[f] If the applicant is employed, and if he feels that his application will not reach the University in time, if forwarded through proper channel, he may fill in an advance copy of his application on the prescribed form and submit it to the University and get his original application forwarded through the proper channel.

[g] In the case of Govt. employees the Head of the Department should certify that the Government has agreed to relieve the candidate, if recruited.

[h] Candidates in private and semi-government services must attach a letter to indicate that they have applied with the knowledge of their employers, and that they will be relieved by the organization, if selected.

[i] The date of interview will be intimated in due course of time. The office will not be responsible for the late or non-delivery of the intimation posted to candidate.

[j] The selected candidates will be required to join duty within a month from the date of issue of orders, unless otherwise instructed in the order of appointment failing which the appointment of the candidates will be treated as cancelled.

[k] Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Backward Class Physically handicapped should enclose attested copy of Community Certificate/medical certificate as the case may be along with the application form.

[l] The University will acknowledge the receipt of application provided a self-addressed post card duly affixed with postal stamps and attached to the application. No application will otherwise be acknowledged.

[m] Wherever necessary the University may prefer conducting a screening/written test and based on the performance in the written test suitable number of candidates will be called for Interview.

[n] The candidates selected should work in any of the constituent Colleges/ Units of the University including JNTUH College of Engineering, Jagityal, Karimnagar district.

[o] Before applying, candidate must read the complete Advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfills eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

[p] Applicants are advised to submit the applications well in advance, without waiting till the last date, to avoid postal delay or any other unforeseen problems.

[q] Aspirants may be Selected on basis of Written Test and excellent performance in Interview. The Selection Process would judge different Facets of Knowledge, Skills, Comprehension and Aptitude.

[s] Candidates must possess the prescribed qualifications as on the date.

[t] No correspondence or Telephonic/Electronic query will be Entertained from candidates regarding Postal Delays, conduct and result of Interview and Reasons for Not Being Called for Interview etc.

[u] Applicant must be a citizen of India. Applicants must apply only on the Prescribed Application Form.

[v] All qualifications should be from a recognized Indian University/Institute recognized by AICTE/Appropriate Statutory Authority.

[w] The candidates who enter into JNTUH service through this Advertisement will not be eligible for pensioner benefits. However they will be eligible for the Contributory Pension Scheme of the University.

[x] The candidates selected should work in any of the constituent Colleges/ Units of the University including JNTUH Colleges of Engineering, Hyderabad Jagityal, Manthani, Singoor.

[y] For the post of Assistant Professor the University may conduct written test wherever necessary.

[z] The University reserves itself the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, not to fill up any or all the above posts, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
