Post Details

Ex-servicemen who are retired from Service after putting 15 years and have also passed Army Class-I Certificate or equal will be considered eligible.

Selection Procedure

[a] The recruitment will be on the basis of scrutiny of applications and the Ex-serviceman should be physically fit for the job being considered.

[b] The panel will be formed primarily on the basis of Ex-serviceman's length of Military service.

[c] Incomplete Applications or Applications received after the due date will not be considered.

[d] The last date for receiving duly filled applications is 08th July, 2013.

[e] Before applying, candidate must read the complete Advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfills eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

[f] The application is liable for rejection at any stage of recruitment process without assigning reason in case of suppression/ furnishing of false information, or without enclosing necessary documents unsigned application.

[g] Applications which are not in the prescribed format/ unsigned/ incomplete/ mutilated/ without requisite fee/ without supporting documents of eligibility criteria/ caste certificate, will not be accepted and such candidates will be considered ineligible and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

[h] Applicants are advised to submit the applications well in advance, without waiting till the last date, to avoid delay or any other unforeseen problems.

[i] Aspirants may be Selected on basis of Written Test and excellent performance in Interview.

[j] No correspondence or Telephonic/Electronic query will be entertained from candidates regarding Postal Delays, conduct and result of Interview and Reasons for Not Being Called for Interview etc.

[k] No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending written exam/screening test/ interview.

[l] Envelope should be super scribed with the advertisement no. and name of the post.

[m] Candidates canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence/pressure, offering illegal gratification, blackmailing or threatening to blackmail any person connected with recruitment will be disqualified.

The south Central Railway was formed on 2-10-1966, when Hubli, Vijayawada division of southern Railway along with Secundrabad division of central railway was carved into a new Zone. The Guntakal division of southern railway was merged by the south central railway in 2-10-1977, the Secundrabad division was spitted into two divisions that are – Secundrabad and Hyderabad on 17-2-1978. The zones and the divisions that are affected by the two divisions are been operated by shifting to the Hubli division which is established as new South western Railway. There are approximately six divisions available for the South central railway that are- Secundrabad, Hyderabad, Guntakal, Vijayawada, Nanded and Guntur. The actual number of staff of strength available in this Railway is 83,725 and the total numbers of electrifying lines are 5435.
