Graduation from a Recognized University or equivalent is the Minimum Educational Qualification.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BE COMPLIED BY THE CANDIDATES:-
[a] Candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age, physical standards, etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the posts, before applying.
[b] The Examination will comprise of Written Examination in two phases [i] Physical Endurance Test [ii] Medical Examination & Interview/ Personality Test.
[c] The Commission will draw up an All India Merit List and, in that order, as many candidates as are found by the Commission to have qualified in the Examination shall be recommended for appointment up to the number of unreserved vacancies available taking into consideration their options for the posts included in the examination.
[d] The Commission will recommend the candidates in the Merit List on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and interview/personality test.
[e] On verification, at any time before or after the written examination and skill test, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the examination will be cancelled by the Commission.
[f] Candidates are warned that they will be permanently debarred from the examination conducted by the Commission in case they fraudulently claim SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-Serv/ Departmental candidates(Delhi Police) status.
[g] All the candidates who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade-I of any Central/State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
[h] Write your complete communication address including your Name in English in capital letters or in Hindi with blue/black ball pen. Do not forget to write 6 digits PIN Code in the boxes. Since all the correspondence will be made to this address.
[i] Please sign in running hand only. Signature in capital letters of English or unsigned application shall not be accepted and your application shall be summarily rejected.
[j] The Commission uses standard application form for all its examinations. Therefore please read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before filling up the application form, in your own interest. Use only blue/black ball pen to write in the boxes.
[k] INSTANTANEOUSLY ELIMINATION IF CANDIDATES FOUND:- Using unfair means in the examination hall; OR Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any means; OR Impersonate/Procuring impersonation by any person; OR Submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with; OR Making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information OR Resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for the examination; OR Misbehaving in any other manner in the examination hall with the Supervisor, Invigilator OR Commission's Representatives; OR Taking away the Answer sheet with him/her from the examination hall; OR passing it on to unauthorized persons during the conduct of the examination; OR Intimidating or causing bodily harm to the staff employed by the Commission for the conduct of examination; OR To be ineligible for the Examination by not fulfilling the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Notice; OR Candidature can also be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment for any other ground which the Commission considers to be sufficient cause for cancellation of candidature; Candidates who have not affixed their signature.
[l] Candidates are warned that they should not furnish any particulars that are false or suppress any material information while filling in the application form. Candidates are also warned that they should in no case attempt to alter or otherwise tamper with any entry in a document or the attested certified copy submitted by them nor should they submit a tampered/fabricated document. If there is any inaccuracy or any discrepancy in filling OMR sheet, they will be awarded “ZERO.” Without prejudice to criminal action/debarment from Commission.
[m] Candidates will not be allowed to change/revise the preference subsequently. Therefore, they are advised to indicate the preference of the Posts Carefully.
[n] Due weightage will be given to candidates with NCC "B" or "C" certificate at the time of interview/personality test.
[o] Candidates' ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be Tested.
[p] Physical Efficiency(Endurance) Test(PET) will be Mandatory for the all Posts.
[q] Physical Endurance Test will not carry any Marks but will be of Qualifying/Elimination nature.
[r] Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile Phone, Calculator or any other electronic/electrical device for answering any paper (Test Booklets). Candidates must not, therefore, bring Mobile Phone, Calculator or any other electronic/ electrical device inside the Examination premises.
[s] Possession of these items, whether in use or not, will be considered as “use of unfair means” in the Examination and candidature of such candidates will be cancelled forthwith. Such candidates are also liable for debarment upto a period of 5 years and/or criminal prosecution.
[t] COMMISSION'S DECISION FINAL:- For the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, conduct of examination(s) and 19 interviews, allotment of examination centres, selection and allotment of posts/organization to selected candidates will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
[u] The candidates submitting their applications online should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India either in the form of challan or net-banking.
[v] Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing IDENTITY PROOF in original such as Driving Licence, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/College, Income Tax Pan Card etc to the examination centre, failing which THEY SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO APPEAR FOR THE EXAMINATION.
[w] Candidates selected for appointment for posts of S.I. in CAPFs & ASI in CISF are liable to serve anywhere in India.
[x] Women Departmental Candidates of Delhi Police are eligible only for age relaxation. No reservation is available to them.
