REQUISITE QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

[a] Candidate should have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.

[b] Proficiency in local language is mandatory.

Selection Procedure

[a] The Interview will be held at Bhubaneswar centre and the complete address of the venue will be stated in the Call Letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.

[b] Bank reserves the right to cancel the centre and/or add some other centres, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centres other than the one he/she has opted for.

[c] Depending on the number of vacancies, Bank will call from among who have applied to bank, the number, equivalent to three times the number of vacancies short-listed based on their Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS).

[d] Remaining applicants, if any will not receive an interview call from the Bank. The total marks for Interview will be 30. The minimum qualifying marks for Interview will be 12 (10.50 for SC/ST/PWD/OBC/EXSM).

[e] Selected candidates will be on probation for (a) Officer Scale-I: 02 years and [b] Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 01 year.

[f] All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board. The result of the qualifying examination, i.e. Graduation or equivalent to graduation, as the case may be, should have been announced by the University on or before 01st June,2012.

[g] Candidates must have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted in September 2012.

[h] Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “Local Language-ODIYA” as one of the subjects at Matriculation Standard.

[i] Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS at any of the Branches of Odisha Gramya Bank, by means of a Payment challan available in the Bank’s website or through NEFT from any other commercial banks.

[j] The candidate’s copy of the fee payment challan must be retained with the candidate after the necessary details such as Transaction ID; Branch Code etc. are filled in by the bank official.

[k] Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid will NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other future selection process.

[l] Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs-Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.

[m] Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

[n] Candidates are advised in their own interest that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form.

[o] It is strictly forewarned that if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of using unfair means during the selection process OR impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person or misbehaving in the interview venue or taking away any documents from the venue OR resorting to any irregular OR improper means in connection with his/her candidature by selection OR obtaining support for his/her candidature by any means. Such a candidate, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, shall be liable to be debarred, either permanently OR for a specified period, from any recruitment conducted by Bank.

[p] A candidate must be either [i] a Citizen of India or [ii] a subject of Nepal or [iii] subject of Bhutan or [iv] a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962.

[q] Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID [as specified in the online application form while applying for RRBs-Common Written Examination CWE conducted in September 2012] is kept active during the currency of a recruitment project.

[r] Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.

[s] Eligible applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website www.odishabank.in and click on the link “Recruitment/Careers”.

[t] Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification. Candidates can pay application fees in any of the branches of Odisha Gramya Bank or remit the fee through NEFT from any commercial bank branch.

[u] Before applying, candidate must read the complete Advertisement carefully and ensure that he/she fulfills eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

[v] The application is liable for rejection at any stage of recruitment process without assigning reason in case of suppression/ furnishing of false information, or without enclosing necessary documents.

[w] No correspondence or Telephonic/Electronic query will be Entertained from candidates regarding Delays, conduct and result of Interview and Reasons for Not Being Called for Interview etc.

[x] Applicants are advised to submit the applications well in advance, without waiting till the last date, to avoid delay or any other unforeseen problems.

[y] Original fee payment receipt i.e. CBS Challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of Interview. Without original CBS Challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

[z] No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post.

How to Apply

[a] All eligible candidates will be issued Call Letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by post/courier.

[b] Candidates have to affix his/her photograph on the call letter.

[c] Candidate has to bring this Call Letter along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.

[e] No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
